Job summary

K. Hovnanian® Homes in Boynton Beach, FL seeks a Vice President of Land Acquisition to lead the land pipeline and drive growth through strategic acquisitions.

You will partner with senior leaders, interact with brokers, bankers, landowners, and planners, and present opportunities with rigorous financial and market analyses. Travel about 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 8 years of land acquisition experience in progressively responsible positions.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret and present financial analyses and market analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the land acquisition pipeline and identify opportunities through brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials and internal contacts.
• Present land deals to senior leadership and collaborate with key executives to drive company growth.
• Partner with senior leaders to build and manage the acquisition process and ensure sound financial analyses.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of land acquisition experience in progressively responsible positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret and present various financial analyses, as well as statistical market analyses required. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
