Reports to: CEO and Co-Founder
A growing wellness brand is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead its brand strategy as it expands across direct-to-consumer, Amazon, and national retail. This is a brand marketing leadership role for someone who can shape a distinctive identity, build cultural relevance, and lead a lean team through its next stage of growth.
Responsibilities
- Define the brand’s positioning, voice, and marketing strategy across products and digital offerings.
- Build the annual marketing plan and own the budget, making disciplined decisions about where to invest.
- Lead creative direction and ensure a consistent, high-quality brand experience across campaigns, content, packaging, and retail.
- Develop partnerships, collaborations, PR opportunities, and limited-edition launches that build awareness and drive trial.
- Set the strategy for social, content, and community, strengthening customer loyalty and word of mouth.
- Build the retail and shopper marketing playbook for grocery and mass channels, with a focus on launch support and measurable velocity.
- Lead consumer insights and the innovation roadmap, from evaluating new product concepts through go-to-market planning.
- Provide strategic oversight of growth and lifecycle marketing while channel leaders manage day-to-day execution.
- Hire, develop, and lead the marketing team and agency partners, working closely with the CEO and cross-functional leadership.
