Job summary

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority seeks an Assistant Vice President, Human Resources who will provide strategic leadership for the HR function at Nashville International Airport and John C. Tune Airport.

The VP reports to the Executive VP, CAO and partners with executive leadership to align people strategies with organizational priorities and foster a safety-focused, customer-centric culture. This role leads talent strategy, workforce planning, labor and employee relations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years HR experience; more than 10 years preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
• Broad knowledge of talent management, workforce planning, compensation & benefits, labor relations, and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads the organization’s HR strategy, programs, team and overall performance.
• Translates business priorities into workforce and HR plans.
• Develops talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development and planning strategies.
• Oversees compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
• Guides employee relations with executive leadership advisement.
• Advances organizational development initiatives for capability growth.
• Directs HR systems, workforce analytics and planning tools.
• Evaluates HR programs and structures to drive effectiveness and competitiveness.
