wMoonshot is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as a strategic partner on the executive leadership team of a high-growth electrical distribution and infrastructure company. This is not a back-office accounting role—Moonshot has a strong Controller who owns GAAP, compliance, and day-to-day financial operations. This role demands a financial strategist: someone who operates at the leadership table, shapes how the company allocates capital, and influences the decisions that drive sustainable growth. You will set the financial vision, eliminate barriers to execution, and ensure the leadership team has the clarity and visibility required to act with confidence. You will own headcount and resource planning within your vertical, drive accountability through Scorecard Measurables, and build a finance function that operates as an independent, high-performing engine. This role reports directly to the Integrator/COO and operates as a core member of the executive leadership team

  • s.Risk Management and Insurance: Own the company’s financial risk profile—including contractual risk, liability exposure, insurance programs, and risk mitigation strategies—across all business lines and operating entitie
