Moonshot seeks an Associate Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. This developmental role works under senior PMs to coordinate activities, track progress, and facilitate communication, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.

This role offers a pathway into project management, with exposure to cross-functional teams and enterprise-scale initiatives within a growing PMO.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or related roles.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks meet milestones.
• Support kickoffs, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
• Maintain project documentation, charters, and records.
• Monitor progress, track deliverables, and report status.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate as needed.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and metrics for stakeholders.
• Support budget tracking and resource utilization reporting.
• Facilitate communication between teams, stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
• Document actions, track follow-ups, and distribute updates.

Moonshot is hiring an Associate Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization.

Working under the guidance of senior project managers and project sponsors, this role helps coordinate project activities, track progress, manage schedules, and facilitate communication to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.

This is a developmental role, built for individuals seeking a career path into project management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures
• Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed according to established milestones
• Support project managers in organizing project kickoffs, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews
• Maintain project documentation, project charters, and meeting records

Project Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor project progress and track deliverables against schedules
• Identify and elevate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and metrics for stakeholders
• Support budget tracking and resource utilization reporting

Stakeholder Communication

• Facilitate communication between project teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, workshops, and project reviews
• Document action items and follow up on assigned tasks
• Ensure timely distribution of project updates and communications
• Assist in maintaining project risk and issue logs
• Track mitigation plans and resolution activities
• Escalate potential concerns to project leadership as needed

Process Improvement

• Support the implementation of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO
• Assist in lessons learned sessions and project closeout activities

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, operations, business analysis, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management tools.
• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
• PMP training coursework.
• Agile/Scrum fundamentals certification.
