Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Activity Programs team member to lead Life Guidance programs and develop engaging service plans for residents in our communities. You will plan and supervise a range of recreational activities, foster resident participation, and coordinate events and celebrations with supervision.

The role emphasizes strong planning, care for residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, and collaboration with the Life Guidance team to ensure a vibrant daily schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of recreational therapy methods and their application to residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
• Certification(s) required by state regulations.
• Ability to work various schedules and shifts.
• Leads Life Guidance programs and develops service plans.
• Provides diverse recreational activities with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead Life Guidance programs and develop service plans.
• Provide and supervise a variety of recreational activities.
• Engage residents to encourage participation in programs.
• Plan monthly birthday celebrations and seasonal events.
• Maintain records of activities and resident participation.
• Support census-building initiatives within the community.
