Job summary

Brightview Senior Living, Towson, MD, is seeking an Activity Director to champion vibrant living for residents and lead a team delivering engaging social, educational, spiritual, and wellness activities. The Vibrant Living Director will shape programs and ensure high-quality experiences for all residents.

Strong communication, leadership, and project-management skills are essential to coordinate multi-site initiatives and measure outcomes, while driving a positive culture of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a field that supports vibrant living; marketing, education or geriatrics preferred.
• Minimum seven years in a high-energy public role; three in leadership/supervisory capacity.
• Experience in event or activities planning, sales and/or training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online conferencing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct associates to deliver vibrant social, physical, educational and spiritual programs for residents.
• Monitor trends in senior living and develop robust, varied programs; support company initiatives.
• Develop strategies and measure resident participation and satisfaction; manage projects across the community.
