Job summary

Integral Senior Living in California is seeking a Vibrant Life Assistant to safely drive the community van and supervise residents during outings. You will also help carry out Vibrant Life activities inside the community.

This role emphasizes safety, compassionate interaction with seniors, and teamwork with the Vibrant Life Director and care staff.

Applicants should be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and ideally have two years' driving experience with elderly or dementia residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old due to driving requirement.
• Valid Driver’s License is required by state for vehicle/van capacity.
• Prefer minimum two years of experience driving a vehicle/van.
• Experience with elderly and dementia residents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the community van safely for outings and medical appointments.
• Assist residents on and off the vehicle, ensuring safety.
• Follow state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspections.
• Provide on-site supervision and participate in Vibrant Life activities.
• Report safety or maintenance issues promptly to supervisor.
