Grace and Faye Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced RVT to serve as Veterinary Training Supervisor I in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role leads and develops training for the Emergency Nursing Team, focusing on onboarding, skills development, competency tracking, and support for a high-performing ER unit.

The position requires weekend/holiday availability and hands-on instruction in CPR, restraint, triage, nursing skills, anesthesia, and more.

Veterinary Training Supervisor I San Francisco Bay Area

We're working with a privately owned, boutique-level specialty and emergency veterinary hospital that's deeply committed to creating a positive, supportive, and connected culture where every team member can grow personally and professionally.

We're seeking an experienced RVT to step into a Training Supervisor role, leading and developing training programs for the Emergency Nursing Team. This role centers on onboarding, skills development, competency tracking, and supporting a high-performing, compassionate ER team. It's an ideal fit for someone who loves teaching, mentoring, and raising the clinical bar.

This is a 24/7 hospital, so weekend and holiday availability is required.

• Facilitate in-person training for ER assistants and technicians
• Ensure training aligns with hospital culture, mission, and emergency medicine best practices
• Track team skills, assessments, certifications, and continuing education
• Create educational materials (presentations, videos, simulations, assessments)
• Provide hands-on instruction in CPR, restraint, triage, nursing skills, anesthesia, and more
• Support onboarding, mentorship, and growth opportunities
• Coordinate student internship and externship experiences

Team & Program Development

• Continuously evaluate and improve training programs
• Collaborate with management on training needs, scheduling, and new protocols
• Partner with shift leads to support workflow improvements
• Identify team members needing performance support and contribute to evaluations
• Maintain onboarding and training documentation

Clinical Support (as needed)

• Assist with exams, patient restraint, triage, and nursing care
• Perform or assist with diagnostics, radiographs, specimen collection, and lab tests
• Place IV catheters and support anesthesia monitoring
• Perform emergency procedures including CPR and oxygen therapy
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients
• Support inventory, equipment prep, and hospital cleanliness

• 5+ years of veterinary clinical experience (ER experience a plus)
