Job summary

MARS, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive Vet BU strategy across Albuquerque and adjacent areas. You will identify clinic opportunities, leverage sales data, and work cross-functionally to increase clinic access and veterinary recommendations.

The role requires 2+ years in sales (preferably B2B) with veterinary clinic exposure, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel 20–30% with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs and growing clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within the geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies based on needs.
• Manage an expense and sales budget and complete CRM and expense reports.
