Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary Regional Sales Manager for the Denver, CO area, with travel to Oklahoma City, OK. This field-based role leads district sales managers, executes sales strategy, and drives regional growth with internal and external stakeholders.

You will coach and develop District Managers, manage budgets, attend trade shows, and deepen knowledge of Royal Canin veterinary product lines. The role requires travel and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Administration, Marketing or Animal Science.
• 3+ years sales experience with cross-functional teams.
• Business acumen in veterinary industry.
• People management experience in mentoring/coaching or line management role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profitable sales growth within region through leadership of District Sales Managers.
• Achieve product penetration and focus objectives within region.
• Implement Royal Canin veterinary sales strategy and processes in region.
• Coach and develop District Managers to meet growth objectives and KPIs.
• Develop a high-performance team through coaching and growth opportunities.
• Respond to elevated customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Attend trade shows and company meetings; manage expenses and trade budgets.
• Become thoroughly knowledgeable on veterinary product lines and sales processes.
