Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Fargo, ND area. This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering the Vet BU strategy to meet clinic-focused sales goals.

You will translate clinic data into opportunities, develop territory business plans, and build relationships with key decision-makers. Frequent travel and cross-functional collaboration are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred for the role.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver compelling, data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Build partnerships across internal stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy and manage budgets and reports.
