Qualifications

• Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state.
• Experience in a veterinary practice is preferred (minimum 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients; obtain weight, vitals, and history; record in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with exams, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Restrain patients, collect lab samples, handle medications, and update EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay results, and manage records and AR.
• Prepare patients for procedures; monitor anesthesia; discharge or transfer as needed.
• Participate in training of new staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
