Qualifications

• College education completed as required to become Credentialed Vet Technician.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, take vitals, and document history in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Restrain patients, collect labs, dispense meds per vet direction, maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, manage records and AR.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, discharge as directed.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and web patient care; care for animals and families.
• Assist in training staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Perform additional duties and support front desk as needed.
