Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, take weight and vitals, and record in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with routine and emergency appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, collect lab samples, dispense meds, and maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay test results, manage records and AR.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and discharge or transfer.
• Provide in-hospital treatments, medications, IV therapies; keep patient clean and fed.
• Train new staff and share knowledge.
• Keep hospital clean and maintain environment.
• Backup phone/front desk support.
