Veterinary Technician – Neurology

Full-time: Mon-Thur 7:30am or 8am-6pm with some flexibility to stay later as needed for surgeries. On-call required.

About You

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, surgery assistance, and support services such as admitting and discharging patients.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

• Personal fondness for dogs and cats
• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and accept supervision
• Experience with restraint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Positive attitude under pressure
• Ability to lift objects and patients up to 50 pounds
• Confidence in anesthesia and recovery processes

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily operations, perform technical and administrative tasks
• Patient admission/discharge, client greeting, history taking, vitals
• Assist with examinations, diagnostics, restraint, radiography, blood draws, catheterization, anesthesia, and post-procedure care
• Maintain cleanliness and communicate clearly with clients
