We are seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our team. Consideration will be given to Veterinary Technician Assistants with a minimum of 1-year experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians with patient prep for surgery, monitoring post-op patients, and animal restraint during exams.
• Gather samples for testing, such as stool and blood.
• Test samples and interpret results.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia as prescribed.
• Communicate with clients about animal care and provide instructions.
• Support the Client Service Specialist team when needed.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Minimum 1-year experience in veterinary care
• Ability to safely restrain animals
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medications
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated and team-oriented

A Day In The Life

• Assist veterinarians with surgeries and exams
• Obtain and test samples
• Administer medications and vaccines
• Communicate with clients about animal care
• Support team members as needed
