Thrive Pet Healthcare in Scottsdale is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician for our North Scottsdale clinic. The role supports veterinarians to ensure top-quality care and client education, while maintaining efficient patient flow and accurate medical records.

Ideal candidates have emergency Vet Tech experience, anesthesia/surgical assisting skills, and a strong attention to detail. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency veterinary technician experience.
• Experience in anesthesia, surgical assisting and post-operative care.
• Comfortable with anesthetic patient monitoring (ASA I-III).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail.
• Ability to observe animal behavior and provide nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care and educate clients.
• Assist veterinarians and medical team to maximize productivity and patient flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in line with credentialing.
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
