Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team. You will provide perioperative care, monitor anesthesia, and assist with surgeries, supporting patients through admission, recovery, and discharge.

We value experienced CVTs with strong anesthesia skills and teamwork. This position offers growth within Thrive Pet Healthcare’s network and a collaborative surgical environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • CVT/RVT/LVT active and current required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver perioperative care for surgical patients.
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist surgeons.
  • Support patient journey from admission to recovery and discharge.

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is looking for a Full-time, experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Scottsdale, AZ.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by delivering exceptional perioperative care for our surgical patients. Your life-changing work will range from applying advanced technical skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and diagnostic testing, to supporting every stage of the patient journey from admission through recovery and discharge. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required
  • Superior/advanced technical & anesthesia skills
  • Experience in a Specialty Surgery setting strongly preferred
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
