Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join the Internal Medicine team. The role supports veterinarians with outpatient treatments, laboratory work, patient admissions and discharges, and high-quality nursing care across a busy specialty clinic.

Qualifications

• Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an emergency veterinary technician.
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT encouraged to apply.
• Experience in anesthesia and surgical assisting and post-operative care.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to observe animal behavior and provide nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and maintain positive patient flow.
• Communicate with clients about pet health and Thrive Membership options.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history and record medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and keep areas sterile and organized.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
