Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Veterinary Technician Manager to lead and support our specialty technical teams within a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. You will oversee training, performance, scheduling, and consistency across departments and serve as the primary contact for specialty staff needs.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills with the ability to coach, set expectations, and maintain accountability.

• Experience leading or supervising teams in a veterinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain specialty technical teams aligned to Thrive values.
• Schedule, interview, and conduct skill assessments for specialty technical candidates.
• Build schedules that maximize coverage, minimize overtime, and support 24/7 caseload needs.
• Set clear medical, behavioral, and performance expectations for specialty technical staff.
• Oversee team performance with guidance from hospital leadership to ensure quality and consistency.
