CityVet in Texas is hiring Veterinary Technicians to join our vet-led clinics. A Veterinary Technician Assistant may be considered with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

You will support veterinarians by prepping patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, taking X-rays, and gathering lab specimens, while communicating clearly with clients. We offer strong benefits and opportunities for growth within our growing practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and medications is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians by prepping patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, taking X-rays, and gathering lab specimens.
• Obtain samples (e.g., stool, blood) for testing and help interpret results.
• Administer prescribed medications, vaccines, and provide client instructions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team to support patient care.
