Qualifications

• Must have NYS Veterinary Technician license or be eligible.
• Advanced anesthesia skill set and ability to perform associated procedures.
• Experience in a surgical/anesthesia department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support and nursing care for the Surgery Department.
• Assist with all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge.
• Train new employees and volunteers; participate in education projects.
• Maintain concise and accurate records of patient treatment and charges.
• Communicate professionally with clients and referral veterinarians.
