Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Veterinary Technician license or permit.
• Experience handling animals and ability to lift and restrain up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to remain composed in stressful or emergency situations.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as workload requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and compassionate care to hospitalized patients.
• Perform treatments including fluids, drug administration, wound care, and vitals monitoring.
• Identify and communicate concerning changes in patient status promptly.
• Operate veterinary equipment (syringe pumps, dopplers, BP monitors, etc.).
• Maintain and stock inventory.
• Collaborate with team across departments to ensure patient safety and care.
