Job summary

VCA Aldrich in Babylon, NY is seeking a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service practice. You\'ll support the Technician and Doctor teams by delivering an outstanding client experience and providing compassionate care to our patients.

Candidates have credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) and will perform exams, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, dentistry, lab work, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy duties and patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials required or eligible.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to perform exams and contribute to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support Technician and Doctor teams in a low-stress environment.
• Deliver outstanding client experience and patient care.
• Utilize skills in exams, anesthesia, surgery prep, dentistry, lab work, venipuncture and recovery.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $26- $33/ hour
