Job summary

VCA Boulevard in Newport News, VA is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited hospital. You will work closely with veterinarians to deliver high-quality care to our patients and support families.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technician preferred.
• Excellent client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures and recovery.
• Assist with dentistry, radiology, and laboratory work.
• Administer medications and venipuncture as needed.
• Support catheters placement and patient recovery.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
