VCA Southgate Animal Hospital in Copiague, NY is seeking an experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician for part-time work. The ideal candidate is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) with passion for high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care in a fast-paced hospital.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with NY licensure (CVT/RVT/LVT).
• Experience in a fast-paced AAHA-accredited hospital is preferred.
• Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient examinations and assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist with surgical preparation and intraoperative support.
• Provide dentistry, radiology and routine laboratory work.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Pharmacy duties and medication administration.
• Ensure compassionate care and smooth patient recovery.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $25 - $32 / hour
