Job summary

VCA Commack Animal Hospital in East Northport, NY is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician. The role requires a licensed vet tech with surgical and dental experience and proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed vet tech with surgical and dental experience.
• CVT/RVT/LVT credentials preferred.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and doctors to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Prepare for and assist during surgeries and dental procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures and recovery.
• Perform radiology, venipuncture, catheter placement, and basic laboratory work.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
