Job summary

VCA Animal Healing Center in Langhorne, PA, is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor. This full-time role offers a $1,500 signing bonus and a pay range of $27.00–$35.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to advance clinical skills.

You will supervise the Technician and Doctor teams, provide mentorship, manage scheduling, and help develop treatment protocols to ensure exceptional patient care. Eligible credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) are preferred.

Our multi-doctor practice combines holistic and conventional veterinary medicine to provide comprehensive care for our patients. Our team offers a variety of services, including acupuncture, laser therapy, homeopathy, routine wellness care, advanced dentistry, full-mouth dental radiographs, and elective and non-elective surgical procedures.

The Role

As a member of the VCA team, you will support Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent-by delivering an outstanding client experience-so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. You've worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. In the supervisor role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Directing work flow on the floor
• Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
• Help with the interview process for potential new hires
• Technician Scheduling
• Assists in staffing and coverage where needed
• Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training
• Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
• Mentoring technicians within the department
• Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service
• Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
