Title: Veterinary Sales Director

Remote: Western US

The Veterinary Sales Director leads the Regional Manager Team and is accountable for establishing an effective team environment to execute the Vet BU strategy and achieve business objectives/KPIs for the Royal Canin Veterinary business. This role involves improving strategy execution through decisive and prompt decision-making to yield desired outcomes.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master of Business Administration preferred.
  • Extensive sales leadership and management experience.
  • Proven results across multiple sales levels and functions.
  • 5-7 years of direct sales experience; at least 5 years in sales leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver annual business targets through strategic sales planning and performance management.
  • Analyze meaningful data to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovative approaches to shape the Vet BU business model.
  • Model leadership behaviors aligned with the 5 Principles, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-standard team environment.
  • Achieve financial and sales targets for assigned areas.
  • Develop leadership pipeline via coaching Regional Managers, supporting their career and organizational growth.
  • Apply business and market knowledge to enhance organizational goals and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results to ensure consistent execution across the team.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments and functions.
  • Lead effectively through change and uncertainty, making decisions with incomplete information when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The starting base salary range is USD 133,067.00 - USD 182,958.00, but may vary based on individual factors such as location, experience, and skills. The total compensation may include variable pay and allowances. Employees are enrolled in a 401(k) plan and eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and holidays, subject to company policies.
