Title: Veterinary Sales Director

Remote: Western US

Mars does not sponsor visas for this role.
This position is not eligible for relocation benefits.

The Veterinary Sales Director leads the Regional Manager Team and is accountable for establishing an effective team environment to execute the Vet BU strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s for the Royal Canin Veterinary business. Improves execution of the Vet BU strategy by acting decisively and making prompt decisions that will yield desired outcomes.

What are we looking for?
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; Masters of Business Administration preferred.
  • Extensive sales leadership & management experience through prior experience.
  • Consistent results across multiple level sales organizations and experience working in multiple functions.
  • 5-7 years of direct sales experience; minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Delivering annual business targets through developing and executing sales plans.
  • Interpreting and recognizing meaningful data to develop recommendations.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovative thinking for the Vet BU business model.
  • Modeling leadership behaviors aligned with the 5 Principles, fostering an inclusive environment, and upholding high standards.
  • Achieving financial targets and sales budgets.
  • Developing leadership pipeline through coaching Regional Managers.
  • Applying business knowledge to improve organizational goals and making strategic recommendations.
  • Monitoring work and measuring results for training, sales, and marketing objectives.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
  • Leading the team through change and uncertainty.
  • Other duties as assigned.
