Job summary

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator to join our Client Experience Team. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about animals, we would love to hear from you!

You will act as a liaison between pet owners, referring veterinarians, and our Specialty departments. Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, managing medical record communications, and supporting a seamless client experience from check-in to discharge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced administrative or client service role.
• At least 6 months of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting.
• Prior experience using veterinary practice management software required.
• Veterinary assistant experience is a plus.
• Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments and manage medical record communications.
• Support a seamless client experience from check-in to discharge, acting as liaison between owners and veterinarians.
