DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, OR is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator to join our Client Experience Team. If you are detail-oriented and have a genuine love of and respect for all animals, we would love to hear from you!

As the Referral Coordinator you will act as a liaison between pet owners, referring veterinarians, and our Specialty departments, coordinating appointments and managing medical record communications to support a seamless client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced administrative, receptionist, or client service role.
• At least 6 months of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting.
• Prior experience using veterinary practice management software required.
• Veterinary assistant experience is a plus.
• Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments between pet owners, referring veterinarians, and specialty departments.
• Manage medical record communications between parties.
• Support a seamless client experience from check-in to discharge.
