Job summary

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, OR is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator to join our Client Experience Team. You will liaise between pet owners, referring veterinarians, and our specialty departments, coordinating appointments and managing medical record communications to ensure a seamless client experience from check-in to discharge.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced admin, receptionist, or client service role.
• At least 6 months of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting.
• Prior experience using veterinary practice management software required.
• Veterinary assistant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments and manage medical record communications.
• Support seamless client experience from check-in to discharge.
• Liaise between pet owners, referring veterinarians, and DoveLewis’ Specialty departments.
