Job summary

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, OR is hiring full-time Client Service Representatives to join our Client Experience Team. You are the first point of contact for clients and their pets in a fast-paced emergency hospital.

The role requires at least 1 year in high-volume in-person customer service, superb multitasking, empathy under pressure, and proficient computer and scheduling skills. Shift options include swing and day, with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of high-volume, in-person customer service experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling high-stress interactions with professionalism and empathy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their pets in a high-volume emergency hospital environment.
• Manage in-person client interactions, multi-line phone systems, and administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and composure.
• Coordinate with medical staff and external partners to prioritize urgent client needs.
• Support clients during emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain organizational efficiency and sound judgment under pressure.
