Job summary

Raritan Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to be the friendly first impression for clients and their pets. You’ll manage phones, appointments, payments, and records while supporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks in a welcoming, AAHA-accredited environment.

Join a team that values warmth, professionalism, and ongoing growth, with full-time hours, a 5-day work week, and Saturday availability a must. Prior experience in veterinary or customer service is preferred.

• Comfort with computers and veterinary practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate attitude.
• Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Process invoices and payments accurately, including for euthanasia consultations.
• Communicate clearly and with care during emotionally sensitive moments.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Keep the front desk and reception areas organized and welcoming.
• Collaborate with the medical team to create a seamless client experience.
• Support the team with general administrative and clerical tasks.
