Job summary

Swift Creek Animal Hospital invites a friendly, dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our in-person team in Midlothian, VA. You’ll be the welcoming face helping families with pets, scheduling visits, handling inquiries, and processing payments.

We value compassion, strong communication, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Veterinary experience is a plus but not required; training is provided for the right attitude.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, positive, and professional attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Ability to stay calm and productive in a busy environment
• Previous reception, customer service, or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
• Scheduling appointments and managing daily patient flow
• Answering phones and assisting clients with questions and service needs
• Processing payments and handling client transactions
• Maintaining accurate patient and client records
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail and email communications
• Supporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks
• Keeping the lobby and reception area welcoming, organized, and clean
