Job summary

Haskell Valley Veterinary Clinic in Olean, NY is seeking a friendly front desk professional to greet clients, schedule appointments, process payments, and manage patient records.

You will handle phones, mail, and data entry, assist with retail sales of pet supplies, and help maintain a clean waiting area while lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. We offer a living wage and strong benefits with revenue sharing for growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and handling payments.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages for doctors and staff.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email.
• Update and file patient charts.
• Enter data into computerized billing program.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist with pet supply purchases (food, supplements, grooming items).
• Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods.
• Retail sales.
