Job summary

Family Pet Center in Frisco, Texas is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to greet clients, schedule appointments, process payments, and manage patient records with care and accuracy. This full-time role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and tech savvy.

You will answer phones, handle mail, maintain waiting room cleanliness, perform data entry into billing software, assist with pet supply sales, and support doctors and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with common computer software.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments.
• Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staff.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email.
• Update and file patient charts.
• Enter data into computerized billing program.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods.
