Family Pet Center in Frisco, TX seeks a Veterinary Receptionist to greet clients, manage check-ins, handle payments and support doctors. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, process messages, and help keep patient records up to date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced front desk role.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and data entry.
• Professional demeanor and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and discharge patients; handle invoicing.
• Provide customer service: greet customers, answer questions, process incoming patients, handle payments.
• Answer phone calls: schedule appointments and relay messages to staff.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and email.
• Update and file patient charts; enter data into billing software.
• Retrieve prescriptions as needed by doctors and staff.
• Assist with pet supplies purchases (food, supplements, grooming items).
• Maintain waiting room cleanliness; ensure a welcoming environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend and stand for long periods.
• Engage in retail sales activities as part of front desk duties.
