Pacific Heights Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. You will be the friendly face at the front desk, manage client communications, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for patients and their families.

The role emphasizes exceptional client service, organization, and teamwork in a busy clinical environment, with flexible four-day workweeks and no weekends or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary reception or client service.
• Excellent customer service with pets and people.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Calm, compassionate, and professional in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer calls, emails, and other communications.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments.
• Check clients in and out of the hospital.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Process payments and assist with invoices.
• Communicate instructions and hospital updates clearly.
• Support communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Assist with prescription refills per hospital protocol.
