Southern California Veterinary Hospital in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our energetic team. This full-time role offers a starting wage of $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience, and a five-day workweek with Saturday availability.

You will welcome clients, schedule appointments, process payments, and support our veterinary team while delivering compassionate customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• A positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
• High level of computer proficiency.
• Experience with Avimark software and international health certificates is a plus.
• Willingness to work Saturdays as part of a flexible weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Answer multiple phone lines and provide exceptional customer service
• Schedule appointments and help manage daily patient flow
• Review treatment plans with clients and answer general questions
• Process payments and maintain accurate client records
• Support pharmacy operations and prescription fulfillment
• Assist veterinarians and hospital staff as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Handle confidential medical records with accuracy and professionalism
