BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Veterinary Receptionists!

Pay: $18 - $29 / hour
This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our CareerTrax leveling system.

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are crucial to our hospital's success. You will be the first BluePearl Associate that clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate, even in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

1. Greeting clients warmly and acknowledging them professionally as they enter.
2. Maintaining a friendly demeanor with eye contact and a smile.
3. Listening compassionately to clients.
4. Communicating clearly and calmly in person and over the phone.
5. Assessing clients' needs and their pets' conditions upon arrival.
6. Determining emergency status for arriving pets.
7. Responding to non-patient calls and directing visitors appropriately.
8. Confirming appointments and providing clients with preparation instructions.
9. Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients.
10. Managing pet remains with compassion and accuracy, serving as a liaison with service agencies.
