BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Veterinary Receptionists!

Pay:

$18 - $29 / hour
This pay band depends on experience and advancement through our CareerTrax leveling system.

Role Overview:

Our Veterinary Receptionists are crucial to our hospital's success. You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate, especially in emotional situations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Greeting clients: Offer friendly eye contact and acknowledge each individual warmly.
  2. Maintaining demeanor: Always present a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable attitude.
  3. Listening and communication: Be a compassionate listener and speak clearly and calmly in person and on the phone.
  4. Assessing needs: Evaluate clients' needs upon arrival and determine the urgency of their pet's condition.
  5. Handling calls and visitors: Respond promptly and connect them to the appropriate team member.
  6. Appointment management: Confirm all appointments and provide clients with accurate preparation information.
  7. Supporting grieving clients: Offer emotional support and resources discreetly and compassionately.
  8. Managing pet remains: Serve as a liaison, ensuring a respectful and complete process.
