Job summary

CVCA Wheat Ridge, part of a nationwide veterinary network, is seeking a Receptionist to be the Director of First Impressions. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.

You will coordinate care by maintaining medical records, managing appointment schedules, and handling financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service and love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations with good judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with ability to work independently or with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, ensure interactions reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain medical records, manage appointments, handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventive care and hospital services for best patient care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: provide a calming presence for clients and treat each pet with care.
