Job summary

West Denver Veterinary Hospital & Wellness, located in Wheat Ridge, CO, seeks a friendly Receptionist to join our on-site team. The role involves greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments while providing compassionate care for every pet.

You will be the first point of contact, coordinating with the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent client service. Some weekend availability is required to support our patients and clients.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and a love for animals.
• Excellent communication and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with veterinary software preferred; weekends/holidays availability required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure pets get the best care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: provide a calming presence and treat each pet with care and respect.
