Five Points Animal Hospital in East Nashville, TN, is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our compassionate veterinary team. You’ll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, handle appointments and financial transactions, and help maintain accurate medical records.

You should love animals, have excellent communication skills, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable using veterinary software.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service and a love for animals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations.
• Strong organizational abilities to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to work independently or with guidance.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients warmly, reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointments, handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure optimal patient care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients and treat each pet like your own.
