Job summary

Livewell Animal Hospital, LLC in Washington, DC (NoMa area) is seeking a receptionist to be the frontline of our veterinary team. You will manage calls, greet clients, schedule appointments, and assist with billing in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You’ll contribute to high-quality patient care by educating clients on preventive services and ensuring accurate medical records. A flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear and empathetic communication with clients and team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients with a positive, compassionate demeanor.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain medical records, manage appointments, and handle payments.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventive care and hospital services.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism, treating every pet with care and respect.
