Hebron Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly veterinary receptionist in Hebron, KY. You will be the first and last point of contact for clients, helping with check-in, scheduling, and payments, while coordinating with doctors, technicians, and support staff to keep the hospital running smoothly.

The role emphasizes empathy, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary setting. Prior reception experience and comfort with veterinary software are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception or client service; 1 year veterinary experience preferred.
• Compassionate, calm, and able to support clients during stressful situations.
• Strong communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer phones, emails, and client questions; direct to the right team member.
• Schedule appointments to support hospital workflow.
• Check clients in/out and process payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to clients when needed.
• Explain veterinary recommendations and next steps to clients.
• Multitask in a busy veterinary environment while delivering great service.
