Hebron Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced receptionist to join our fast-paced team in northern Kentucky. You will greet clients, triage concerns, answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, and process payments, all while delivering compassionate support to clients and patients.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience, excellent communication skills, and strong computer abilities.

Qualifications

• Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker and strong communicator.
• Highly organized and possess computer skills.
• Self-starter with the desire to advance knowledge and skills.

Hebron Animal Hospital is a well-established, fast-paced six-doctor small animal practice in northern Kentucky. Our most common patients are cats and dogs, but we also see pocket pets! Pet health is our top priority, and online reviews boast about our compassionate, knowledgeable, and empathetic staff. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients, which include dentistry, therapy laser, soft-tissue surgery, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasonography, and more! Our hours of operation are 8:00am-8:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00am-6:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 8:00am-2:00pm on Saturdays. We are proud to be an AAHA-Certified hospital with Fear Free certified professionals on our team!

Hebron Animal Hospital is located in Hebron, KY, and is less than 10 miles from The Northern Kentucky Greater Cincinnati International Airport. The University of Cincinnati is only a short drive from Hebron and has been named in the Top Tier of the country’s “Best National Universities” more than once! Public schools in Northern Kentucky are also highly rated, making our region an ideal place to raise a family. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
